This short guide provides an outline of how to use the SharpBetting app, whatever your level of experience. If you have any questions please email us at hello@sharpbetting.co.uk or contact us on X @SharpBettingGB.
Settings
All users can choose between decimal and fractional odds.
The other settings only affect paid subscribers.

The 'Odds to Display' option determines if all bets are displayed or just those with top odds for that selection. For example, Liverpool could be a value pick at 2/1 with Paddy Power and also value at 7/4 with Ladbrokes. If 'Best odds on selection only' is selected then the Ladbrokes bet will not be displayed. (Be careful about only taking the Best Odds as some sportsbooks will consider this a red flag as you may appear too value aware.)
The 'Bet types to display' option allows users to show either all bets in the feed or only the top bets. The top bets are the highest-value bets. These are the types of bets mainly used for David's Daily selections. The selection is in red in the feed. The other bets are in teal. Note that when David first used the system for his live trial diary, he used both of the bet types.
The teal bets are value bets but their expected value is not as high as the top bets in red. They can be useful to help make accounts last longer before restrictions, to reduce variance, and for putting into accumulator bets. David's Daily selections have often included the teal bet selections for these reasons and others. A top-tier game might feature a teal bet for instance, and it would be a shame for it to be ignored.

In the examples here, Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich (in red) is a top bet and Reading v Wrexham (in teal) is a regular pick. Both are good bets in the long-term.
The 'Hide' option is used to remove bets from the feed after the user has placed a bet on the pick, or is not interested in that particular selection.
- 'Show all' will not remove any bets from the feed.
- 'Unique match, market, selection, bookmaker' will stop that exact bet from being displayed again (e.g. Reading v Wrexham - 3.5 Goals - Under - SkyBet).
- 'Unique match, market, selection' will remove the particular bet with any bookmaker from the feed once one is removed (e.g. Reading v Wrexham - 3.5 Goals - Under).
- 'Unique match' will remove all other bets for same match once one bet on the match has been removed (e.g. Reading v Wrexham).
Paid subscribers can select which bookmakers they want to see in their feed. Currently the sportsbook options are 10bet, 32Red, AK Bets, Bet Goodwin, Bet365, BetfairSB, BetFred, BetMGM, BetUK, BetVictor, Betway, Boyle Sports, Bwin, Copybet, Coral, Dragon Bet, Geoff Banks, Grosvenor Casino, Hollywood Bet, Ladbrokes, LeoVegasUK, Midnite, Paddy Power, Quinnbet, SkyBet, Sporting Index, Spreadex, Star Sports, Talksport Bet, Unibet, Virgin Bet, William Hill.
Occasionally the feed will have a new sportsbook added, sometimes one is taken away. There will always be extensive coverage. Not every sportsbook is available for both football and racing.
Remember to click 'Save Changes' once changes have been made to the settings.
Football bets
The main football bets feed is available to paid subscribers.

The user can filter the date of the matches and also pick an individual bookmaker. Filtering an individual bookmaker can be useful when placing a number of bets with the same firm.
The picks are placed in kick-off time order. The red picks are top-value bets and teal picks are regular-value bets.
To remove a selection from the list click the cross on the top right of the bet panel. Use the settings to determine which bets are hidden following this.
A link icon is available for some bookmakers. The user can click a link to place the URL of the match into their clipboard. This can then be pasted into the URL bar of a browser to quickly place a bet on mobile, desktop, laptop and tablets. Advanced users might want use a split-screen approach as demonstrated here for racing and football.
Horse racing each-way bets
The main horse racing bet-feed is fully available to paid subscribers. (Free members get the live snapshot on the Home page.)

The user can filter the course and also pick an individual bookmaker. Filtering an individual bookmaker can be useful when placing a number of bets with the same firm.
The picks are displayed in race start time order.
As with the football selections (see above), the same conventions apply with red and teal bets and the cross can be used to remove a selection.
My Account
The 'My Account' pages are for the user to manage their account. Subscriptions can be upgraded or cancelled at any time. Other details such as passwords and payment details can be changed. Invoices can also be downloaded.
Uptime
The SharpBetting live system is a highly complex piece of engineering, constantly evolving to enhance the edge we provide to our members. This ongoing process of improvement means that from time to time parts of the system will not be available. Such unscheduled downtime allows us to improve the service in the most agile way possible, for the long-term benefit of our subscribers. When these downtimes occur, they usually only last for a few minutes. During these times the rest of the SharpBetting site functionality and features remain business-as-usual.
