This article provides a recap for the month of March 2025.  All of these betting suggestions were published in David's Daily football previews. Check out the performance of David's full football betting history here.  

Summary

Since the start of 2025, the highest odds picked in these previews was the decimal odds of 18.00 for the three selections that created a 17/1 treble and they all came in. Not so good was the short-price loss at odds of 1.25 in a 1X2 match-winner market. That loss at odds of 1/4 is the shortest price loss to date. Our biggest winner since August was a 28/1 treble. More recently, so far in March, the highest odds picked in these previews was the decimal odds of 7.00  for the winning bet on Under 1.5 Goals in the Benfica vs Barcelona Champions League match (6/1 fractional odds). There's also been a loss at odds of 1.61 for Union Berlin to win their match against Holstein Kiel.  Below are all the selections so far this month.

Put these two PaddyPower bets in a double if you are inclined to do so since that will be compounding the value here. The 1.57 x 2.75 odds create a double of more-or-less 10 / 3 fractional odds. And with the Yes (both teams to score) nature of the second leg, that bet will be alive until the final whistle.

Doubles will compound the value. Putting the first two games into a double pays 2.89 (1.73 x 1.67) in decimal odds; games 1 and 3 will give us 4.12 (1.73 x 2.38) and games 2 and 3 are worth 3.97 (1.67 x 2.38) in a double.

Bet: The treble

Odds Available: 6.88

And it is also worth playing the big-price treble since we are looking to compound the value. If we can land this treble too we get a decent payoff (1.73 x 1.67 x 2.38 = 6.88 decimal odds).

If we place doubles on these selections we compound the value. Putting the first two games into a double pays 6.24 (2.4 x 2.6) in decimal odds; games 1 and 3 will give us 6.6 (2.4 x 2.75) and games 2 and 3 are worth 7.15 (2.6 x 2.75) in a double.

PaddyPower may think there is only a 5.8% chance this wins. We think it's more likely than that. We get an unlikely-sounding 17.16 decimal odds (2.4 x 2.6 x 2.75) if the treble lands.

We can compound the value by placing doubles. The first two matches create decimal odds of 3.91 (1.7 x 2.3) for the double; games 1 and 3 get us 4.08 (1.7 x 2.4). The double is worth 5.52 (2.3 x 2.4) for the second and third selections.
